Always Control The Outcome

Every year on New Year's Eve, people sit and write their New Year's resolutions. They don't realise that their chance of success is minimal, and they have greatly increased the amount of pressure in their lives. To use an example, I have lost 6.5 stone since May 2016. This was not done by having a goal of losing weight. Rather, it was an effect of eating the right foods at the correct times based on the activity done during the day. These actions resulted in me losing weight. Equally, health challenges that I have faced are no more than the result of a bad diet, lack of exercise, etc. So by your action, you can control.
